Description
SolaX TSYS-HS51 51.2 kWh (T-HS51.2) is the TBMS-S51-8 control unit and ten 5.1 kWh TB-HS51 modules; usable energy is 46.0 kWh. Ten modules deliver 30.7 kW rated power, so this is the configuration that fully uses a 30 kW class inverter – the largest SolaX X3-Ultra model. It is chosen by a business with a 30–40 kW PV plant: a production hall, a cold store, a hotel or a farm where most of the consumption falls in the morning and evening.
Symmetrical towers or one tall tower
In the manufacturer's datasheet ten modules are arranged as two identical towers of 5 modules (1,125 mm high each) connected via the Series Box with a second base. In the user manual this is the last configuration still permitted as a single tower – its height is 1,965 mm. From 11 modules two towers are mandatory. The weight of modules and BMS is 493.2 kg; the Series Box (15 kg) is supplied additionally if you choose two towers – we agree the layout before ordering.
Power and voltage
The system operates in the 424–578 V range; rated power 30.7 kW, maximum 35.8 kW. 46.0 kWh of usable energy is enough to shift a whole day's production into the evening and night, or for several hours off-grid at a 20–30 kW load. Compared with the 46 kWh variant – plus 5.1 kWh and 3 kW; the 56.3 kWh variant gives more capacity, but power is then limited by the inverter.
Installation and compatibility
The IP66 enclosure is rated for outdoor and indoor conditions; charging with heating from −30 °C, without it from 0 °C, discharging from −20 °C, up to +53 °C. The towers stand on the floor against a non-combustible wall with a 100 mm gap to the wall and the inverter; the floor must bear four times the system weight. The configuration is on the official SolaX lists for the three-phase X3-Hybrid G4 and X3-Ultra 15K–30K (3–13 modules). With the X3-Ultra, 60 A requires the two-in-one cable. Communication is CAN and RS485; we check your inverter model against its label before ordering.
Safety and warranty
LiFePO4 cells, an aerosol fire suppression module, a 750 V / 125 A DC fuse, more than 6,000 cycles (90% DOD). EU warranty is 10 years (SolaX Cloud registration within 90 days of commissioning, compatible SolaX inverter); 70% of capacity or 15.1 MWh of throughput per module is guaranteed. Under the terms of the planned 2026 APVA call, the compensation is calculated per capacity (170 €/kWh, up to 15 kWh).
