Description
SolaX TSYS-HS51 15.3 kWh (manufacturer designation T-HS15.3) consists of the TBMS-S51-8 control unit and three 5.1 kWh TB-HS51 modules on a shared base; usable energy is 13.7 kWh. It is the smallest three-phase configuration of this family and the most common choice for a home with a 6–10 kW PV plant: the daytime surplus is stored and released in the evening and at night, and the capacity matches the 15 kWh limit of the planned APVA call.
Capacity and power for a home
Three modules operate in the 128–174 V range and deliver 9.2 kW rated (10.8 kW maximum) power – enough for an electric cooker, water heater and household appliances running at the same time. If the home has a heat pump or electric heating, look at the 20.4 kWh variant: the fourth module adds 5.1 kWh and raises power to 12.3 kW. Later the capacity can be expanded in the same tower up to 8 modules (40.9 kWh) – the manufacturer recommends adding modules within the first year after installation following the SolaX extension procedure.
Installation and location
The tower measures 600 × 376 × 789 mm (width × depth × height) and weighs 164.2 kg – the lowest in the family, it fits under a window sill or workbench. The IP66 enclosure is rated for outdoor and indoor conditions: charging with heating works from −30 °C, discharging without it from −20 °C. It stands on the floor against a non-combustible wall, leaving at least 100 mm to the wall and to the inverter; the floor must bear four times the system weight.
Inverter compatibility
Three modules is the minimum configuration for the three-phase SolaX X3-Hybrid G4 and X3-Ultra 15K–30K inverters (they accept 3–13 modules). This capacity also suits the single-phase X1-Hybrid G4 (2–8 modules). Communication with the inverter is CAN and RS485 over the supplied 2 m cable; the inverter-side connector comes with the inverter's accessory kit. We check the inverter model before ordering.
Safety and warranty
LiFePO4 cells, an aerosol fire suppression module, a 750 V / 125 A DC fuse, more than 6,000 cycles (90% DOD). EU warranty is 10 years (SolaX Cloud registration within 90 days of commissioning); 70% of capacity or 15.1 MWh of throughput per module is guaranteed. Under the terms of the planned 2026 APVA call, the compensation is calculated per capacity (170 €/kWh, up to 15 kWh) – 15.3 kWh uses this limit in full.
