Description

SolaX TSYS-HS51 25.6 kWh (T-HS25.6) is the TBMS-S51-8 control unit and five 5.1 kWh TB-HS51 modules; usable energy is 23.0 kWh. Five modules is the first configuration whose rated power (15.4 kW) matches the 15 kW inverter class – the storage is no longer the weakest link of the system. This is the variant for a large home with a heat pump, electric sauna or workshop, or for a small business whose 12–15 kW PV plant produces more during the day than it consumes.

Power for a 15 kW inverter

Five modules operate in the 212–289 V range and deliver 15.4 kW rated and 17.9 kW maximum power, so in the evening a heat pump, cooker and a three-phase appliance can run at the same time. The 23.0 kWh capacity covers two cloudy days in a typical home or one working day in a small business. If consumption is lower and only power matters, the 20.4 kWh variant gives 12.3 kW; if more reserve is needed, six modules (30.7 kWh) fit in the same tower.

Installation and location

The tower measures 600 × 376 × 1,125 mm (width × depth × height) and weighs 258.2 kg – the floor must bear four times the system weight (about 1,030 kg), so in a basement or garage we check the foundation. The IP66 enclosure is rated for outdoor and indoor conditions: charging with heating from −30 °C, without it from 0 °C; discharging without heating from −20 °C; humidity up to 100%. Distance to the wall and the inverter is at least 100 mm; the wall must be non-combustible. The tower can be expanded to 8 modules.

Inverter compatibility

The configuration is on the official SolaX lists for the single-phase X1-Hybrid G4 (2–8 modules) and the three-phase X3-Hybrid G4 and X3-Ultra 15K–30K. With the X3-Ultra 15K, five modules connect to one of the two battery ports; 60 A requires the two-in-one cable, without it the port supplies 30 A. Communication is CAN and RS485 over one cable. We check the inverter model before ordering.

Safety and warranty

LiFePO4 cells, an aerosol fire suppression module, a 750 V / 125 A DC fuse, 95% round-trip efficiency, more than 6,000 cycles. EU warranty is 10 years (SolaX Cloud registration within 90 days of commissioning); 70% of capacity or 15.1 MWh of throughput per module is guaranteed. Under the terms of the planned 2026 APVA call, the compensation is calculated per capacity (170 €/kWh, up to 15 kWh).
