Description
SolaX TSYS-HS51 35.8 kWh (T-HS35.8) is the TBMS-S51-8 control unit and seven 5.1 kWh TB-HS51 modules; usable energy is 32.2 kWh. The seven-module configuration is intended for a business with a 20 kW class inverter: a shop with refrigerators, a farm building, a production workshop or an office whose 20–25 kW PV plant produces a surplus at weekends and midday but falls short in the mornings and evenings.
Power for a 20 kW inverter
Seven modules operate in the 297–405 V range and deliver 21.5 kW rated (25.1 kW maximum) power, so a 20 kW inverter is not limited by battery power. 32.2 kWh of usable energy is enough to shift a full day of solar production into the evening and night, or to keep refrigeration running through a long grid outage. Compared with the 30.7 kWh variant – plus 5.1 kWh and 3 kW; the eighth module (40.9 kWh) is the last one that fits in the same tower, so seven modules leave one expansion step without a second tower.
Installation and location
The tower measures 600 × 376 × 1,461 mm (width × depth × height) and weighs 352.2 kg; the floor must bear about 1,410 kg, so a concrete base is suitable in a business. The IP66 enclosure and built-in heating allow the storage to stand outdoors against a non-combustible wall or in an unheated warehouse: charging with heating from −30 °C, discharging without it from −20 °C, upper limit +53 °C. At least 100 mm to the wall and the inverter. For the connection cable at 60 A the manufacturer specifies a 10 mm² cross-section.
Inverter compatibility
Seven modules are on the official SolaX lists for the single-phase X1-Hybrid G4 (2–8) and the three-phase X3-Hybrid G4 and X3-Ultra 15K–30K (3–13 modules). With the X3-Ultra the tower connects to one battery port; 60 A requires the two-in-one cable, and the second port stays free for a second tower in the future. Communication is CAN and RS485, with remote diagnostics and updates. We check the inverter model before ordering.
Safety and warranty
LiFePO4 cells, an aerosol fire suppression module, a 750 V / 125 A DC fuse, cell balancing by the BMS, more than 6,000 cycles. EU warranty is 10 years (SolaX Cloud registration within 90 days of commissioning, compatible SolaX inverter); 70% of capacity or 15.1 MWh of throughput per module is guaranteed. Under the terms of the planned 2026 APVA call, the compensation is calculated per capacity (170 €/kWh, up to 15 kWh).
