Description
SolaX TSYS-HS51 40.9 kWh (T-HS40.9) is the TBMS-S51-8 control unit and eight 5.1 kWh TB-HS51 modules in one tower; usable energy is 36.8 kWh. Eight modules is the largest single-tower configuration stated consistently by the manufacturer's datasheet and the inverter compatibility lists, so it is chosen by those who need maximum capacity in one 600 × 376 mm footprint: a business with a 25 kW class inverter, a farm, production premises, the utility section of an apartment building or association.
Most capacity in one tower
Eight modules operate in the 340–463 V range and deliver 24.6 kW rated and 28.7 kW maximum power – a 25 kW inverter is used in full. 36.8 kWh of usable energy is enough for midday production to cover the evening shift, and in winter for the storage to charge at the night tariff and release energy to heating and equipment during the day. If more is needed, the next variants (46 kWh and above) are built as two towers with the Series Box or as one tower taller than 1.8 m – 40.9 kWh is the last solution without this choice.
Installation and location
The tower measures 600 × 376 × 1,629 mm (width × depth × height) and weighs 399.2 kg; the floor must bear about 1,600 kg. The IP66 enclosure suits an outdoor wall or an unheated warehouse: charging with heating from −30 °C, without it from 0 °C, discharging from −20 °C, humidity up to 100%. At least 100 mm to the non-combustible wall and the inverter; a 10 mm² connection cable for 60 A.
Inverter compatibility
40.9 kWh is on the official SolaX lists for the single-phase X1-Hybrid G4 (for which this is the largest permitted configuration – 8 modules, 409.6 V) and the three-phase X3-Hybrid G4 and X3-Ultra 15K–30K. With the X3-Ultra the tower occupies one of the two battery ports and 60 A requires the two-in-one cable; the second port accepts another such tower. Communication is CAN and RS485. We check the inverter model before ordering.
Safety and warranty
LiFePO4 cells, an aerosol fire suppression module, a 750 V / 125 A DC fuse, more than 6,000 cycles (90% DOD), 95% round-trip efficiency. EU warranty is 10 years (SolaX Cloud registration within 90 days of commissioning, compatible SolaX inverter); 70% of capacity or 15.1 MWh of throughput per module is guaranteed. Under the terms of the planned 2026 APVA call, the compensation is calculated per capacity (170 €/kWh, up to 15 kWh).
