Home energy storage installation
A battery pays off even without solar: it charges on cheap night electricity, powers the house in the evening and keeps it running during an outage. We analyse your needs carefully and match the inverter to the battery.
Batteries from €2,116 · installation and the backup circuit are quoted individually

Who a battery without solar is right for
A battery without solar panels works every day, not just in a storm: it charges on the cheap night tariff, powers critical circuits during outages, and takes panels later without a new inverter.

Three solutions for homes without solar
The price depends on the capacity, the inverter and how many loads you want to keep running during an outage – we name the exact price once we have assessed your needs and chosen the right configuration.
Backup power for the home
A 5–10 kWh battery with an EPS circuit: fridge, boiler or circulation pump, lights and internet keep working when the grid is down
Individual quote
- Survey: list of critical loads and their separation in the switchboard
- Automatic switchover within milliseconds
- Charging on the night tariff
- 5-year workmanship warranty
Night and spot-market tariff
A 10–15 kWh battery that fills up at night or in the cheapest 15-minute intervals and powers the house in the evening
from €2,116
- ESO four-zone or a spot-market plan
- Automatic charging schedule by price
- Backup power included
- Commissioning, BMS and app configuration
- 5-year workmanship warranty
Solar-ready
A hybrid inverter with a battery now, solar modules once you have the ESO permit or the budget
Individual quote
- Hybrid inverter from our catalogue
- Battery expandable in modules
- Modules added later without replacing the inverter
- 5-year workmanship warranty

How installation works
- 1
Request
Tell us whether backup power or tariff savings matter most and which tariff plan you have – or simply leave a phone number.
- 2
Selection and quote
We size the capacity to your evening and night consumption and the loads you want to keep running during an outage, and send an exact price including installation.
- 3
Installation
Certified electricians place the battery, connect it to the switchboard, fit the protection devices and the EPS circuit.
- 4
Commissioning
We configure the charging schedule for your tariff, the app and the BMS, test the backup supply and hand over the documentation.
Why now
Outages last for days
The August 2026 storm left 268,000 ESO customers without power, some for up to 3 weeks. A battery with an EPS circuit takes over the critical loads automatically – no generator, no fuel.
Night is half the price of evening
On ESO's four-zone tariff night costs 6.3 ct/kWh and evening 14.6 ct/kWh. The battery shifts evening consumption to the night while the house runs as usual.
Spot prices change every 15 minutes
Since October 2025 Nord Pool prices in Lithuania change every 15 minutes: from 0.09 to 1.42 €/kWh on the same day. A battery with an automatic schedule buys in the cheapest intervals without your involvement.
Batteries we install in homes
SolaX, Dyness, Huawei and Solplanet LiFePO4 systems from 5 to 241 kWh, prices from €2,116 – we match the model and capacity to your needs.
Frequently asked questions
Does a battery pay off without a solar plant?
Yes, if you use a night or spot-market tariff and value backup power. On ESO's four-zone tariff night costs 6.3 ct/kWh and evening 14.6 ct/kWh, and on a spot-market plan morning and evening prices differ by 20–30 ct/kWh; a 10 kWh battery saves roughly €0.75–2 a day. Payback without support is about 7–9 years, with a manufacturer warranty of up to 10 years.
How long will the house run during an outage?
It depends on the capacity and the loads. A 10 kWh battery usually covers the fridge, the gas or pellet boiler controls, the circulation pump, lights and internet for 1–2 days. Large loads – electric heating, the cooker, the EV charger – are kept off the backup circuit.
Do I need to change my tariff plan?
It helps: ESO's four-zone plan or a supplier's spot-market plan are available with a smart meter, which ESO has already installed for 1.3 million customers. We configure the battery for the plan you choose, and you can change the plan later.
Can I add solar modules later?
Yes. We install a hybrid inverter to which you can add modules at any time without replacing the inverter. The plant then charges the battery during the day and the energy is used in the evening.
Will I get state support?
There is no support for a battery without a solar plant. The planned APVA calls support a battery for an existing plant (€170/kWh) – if you add modules later, we will tell you which terms apply at the time.
