Description
SolaX TSYS-HS51 30.7 kWh (T-HS30.7) is the TBMS-S51-8 control unit and six 5.1 kWh TB-HS51 modules; usable energy is 27.6 kWh. This is the point where a home storage becomes a business storage: the six-module configuration is chosen by a farm with milking or refrigeration equipment, a car workshop, a small bakery, or a home where both the living space and a pool are heated by electricity. The PV plant for such consumption is usually 15–20 kW.
Capacity for day and night
Six modules operate in the 255–347 V range and deliver 18.4 kW rated (21.5 kW maximum) power – enough for a 15 kW inverter with reserve and for starting three-phase motors. 27.6 kWh of usable energy covers the whole night and morning in a business that starts work early, or two winter days in a home with a heat pump when the storage is topped up from the grid at night. Compared with the 25.6 kWh variant, you get 5.1 kWh and 3 kW more for 47 kg and 168 mm; the seventh module (35.8 kWh) raises power to 21.5 kW.
Installation and location
The tower measures 600 × 376 × 1,293 mm (width × depth × height) and weighs 305.2 kg; the floor must bear about 1,220 kg. The IP66 enclosure allows placement against an outdoor wall or in an unheated room: with heating, charging works from −30 °C, without it from 0 °C, discharging from −20 °C; between −20 °C and 0 °C without heating the storage only discharges. At least 100 mm to the non-combustible wall and the inverter. Two more modules fit in the tower (up to 40.9 kWh).
Inverter compatibility
Six modules are on the official SolaX lists for the single-phase X1-Hybrid G4 (2–8 modules) and the three-phase X3-Hybrid G4 and X3-Ultra 15K–30K (3–13). The X3-Ultra matters for business: it has two battery ports to which two such towers can be connected, and 60 A per tower requires the two-in-one cable. Communication is CAN and RS485; remote diagnostics and updates run through the inverter. We check the inverter model before ordering.
Safety and warranty
LiFePO4 cells, an aerosol fire suppression module, a 750 V / 125 A DC fuse, protection class I, more than 6,000 cycles (90% DOD). EU warranty is 10 years (SolaX Cloud registration within 90 days of commissioning, compatible SolaX inverter); 70% of capacity or 15.1 MWh of throughput per module is guaranteed. Under the terms of the planned 2026 APVA call, the compensation is calculated per capacity (170 €/kWh, up to 15 kWh).
