Description

"SolaX T-BAT HS46.8" is the largest "T-BAT-SYS-HV-S3.6" configuration: 13 modules, 47.9 kWh (43.1 kWh usable). More modules cannot be connected to one "TBMS-MCS0800" – further expansion is only possible with a second system. It is meant for a three-phase business with a 40 kW or larger solar plant whose load stays high after working hours: a cold store, a dairy farm, a hotel, a car workshop with compressors.

The upper limit of the family

43.1 kWh of usable energy will release the whole daytime surplus overnight and still leave a reserve for the morning peak. Compared with 44.2 kWh you get one more module and the highest power; compared with two separate smaller systems, one controller, one communication line and one battery port on the inverter. Under the terms of the planned 2026 APVA call, the compensation is calculated per capacity (170 €/kWh, up to 15 kWh).

Power and voltage

Thirteen modules operate in the 585–750 V range; rated power 23.3 kW (35 A), maximum 33.2 kW (50 A). With the 30 A "X3-Hybrid G4" battery port about 20 kW is available, with the "X3-Ultra" two paralleled ports (50 A) the full maximum power.

Two-tower system

The controller with 7 modules (1,209.5 mm) and the "Series Box" with 6 modules (1,072 mm) – two towers with a 510 × 365 mm footprint each, total mass about 485 kg. The "Series Box" is purchased separately and comes with its base and 2.2–2.3 m cables to join the towers. The floor must take more than 500 kg/m²; the towers stand in the same room.

Installation

The IP65 enclosures suit an unheated room: charging from 0 °C, discharging from −20 °C, with the heating function enabled from −30 °C. The production dates of all 13 modules must differ by no more than 3 months, so the whole system is ordered and installed in one stage.

Compatibility

HS46.8 is the last position in the "SolaX" declaration with "X3-Hybrid G2" and "X3-Hybrid G4" and in the battery selection guide with "X3-Ultra". Communication is CAN 2.0 or RS485; we check the inverter model and firmware before the order.

Safety and warranty

LFP cells, an aerosol fire suppression module, a 750 V / 60 A fuse, more than 6,000 cycles. The EU warranty is 10 years on the hardware; at least 70% of nominal energy or 11.2 MWh of throughput per module.
