Description

"SolaX T-BAT HS21.6" is the six-module "T-BAT-SYS-HV-S3.6" tower, 22.1 kWh (19.9 kWh usable). A six-module tower is the step the manufacturer uses as the main building block in larger systems: the 44.2 kWh variant consists of two such towers. A single HS21.6 is meant for a larger home with a 12–15 kW solar plant, a heat pump, an electric car and, for example, a heated pool or sauna, for which 18.4 kWh would already be too little for an evening.

Twenty kilowatt-hours for the evening

Almost 20 kWh of usable energy means that in summer the daytime solar surplus is not wasted, and in spring and autumn the home can be fed from the storage alone from sunset until morning. If 18.4 kWh is enough for you today but you plan a second electric car or replacing gas heating with a heat pump, the sixth module is a wiser decision than extending later. Under the terms of the planned 2026 APVA call, the compensation is calculated per capacity (170 €/kWh, up to 15 kWh).

Power and voltage

Six modules operate in the 270–349 V range (307.2 V nominal); rated power 10.7 kW, maximum 15.3 kW. With the 30 A "X3-Hybrid G4" battery port about 9.2 kW is available, and with the "X3-Ultra", whose two paralleled ports pass 50 A, the battery can deliver its full maximum power.

Installation

The tower is 510 × 365 × 1,072 mm, about 227 kg with the base – the tallest configuration that is still convenient to place under a window or next to the inverter without adapting the room. The floor must take more than 500 kg/m², and the IP65 enclosure suits a garage and an unheated boiler room: charging from 0 °C, discharging from −20 °C, with the heating function enabled from −30 °C.

Compatibility

HS21.6 is in the "SolaX" declaration with "X1-Hybrid G3/G4" and "X3-Hybrid G2/G4" and in the battery selection guide with "X3-Ultra". In practice we usually connect this capacity to three-phase inverters – six modules technically fit single-phase models, but their power will not make use of the capacity. Communication is CAN 2.0 or RS485; we check the inverter model and firmware before the order.

Safety and warranty

LFP cells, an aerosol fire suppression module, a 750 V / 60 A fuse, more than 6,000 cycles. The EU warranty is 10 years on the hardware; at least 70% of nominal energy or 11.2 MWh of throughput per module is guaranteed, 2 years on the screen.
