Description

"SolaX T-BAT HS18.0" is the five-module "T-BAT-SYS-HV-S3.6" tower, 18.4 kWh (16.6 kWh usable). It is the first configuration whose capacity exceeds the 15 kWh limit of the planned APVA call, so it is worth choosing when the home itself needs more energy than is compensated: the heat pump runs all through the cold season and the electric car is charged daily. It suits a 10–12 kW solar plant and a three-phase home with an "X3-Hybrid G4" inverter.

For a heat pump and a car

In the evening and at night 16.6 kWh lets you run the heat pump and top up the car without paying attention to the grid tariff, and in winter the storage can be charged at night and release the energy for daytime heating. Compared with the 14.7 kWh variant you get a fifth more capacity and higher power; compared with 22.1 kWh, a smaller tower that still fits under a standard 1 m worktop or shelf. Under the terms of the planned 2026 APVA call, the compensation is calculated per capacity (170 €/kWh, up to 15 kWh) – for this variant part of the capacity is compensated.

Power and voltage

Five modules operate in the 225–290 V range (256 V nominal); rated power 8.9 kW, maximum 12.8 kW. With the 30 A "X3-Hybrid G4" battery port about 7.7 kW is actually available – for the heat pump, the cooker and car charging at the same time.

Installation

The tower is 510 × 365 × 934.5 mm, about 193 kg with the base; it stands on a level floor in a garage, boiler room or under a canopy, enclosure IP65. Charging is possible from 0 °C, discharging from −20 °C, with the heating function enabled from −30 °C. Leave more than 100 mm at the sides and more than 400 mm in front.

Compatibility

HS18.0 is listed in the "SolaX" declaration with "X1-Hybrid G3/G4" and "X3-Hybrid G2/G4", and in the battery selection guide with "X3-Ultra". For single-phase "X1-Hybrid G4" (voltage window 80–480 V) this configuration still fits, but consider whether the inverter's power matches such a capacity. We check the inverter model and firmware before the order.

Safety and warranty

LFP cells, an aerosol fire suppression module, a 750 V / 60 A fuse, more than 6,000 cycles, certificates IEC 62619 and UN38.3. The EU warranty is 10 years on the hardware; at least 70% of nominal energy or 11.2 MWh of throughput per module is guaranteed.
