Description
"SolaX T-BAT HS28.8" is the eight-module "T-BAT-SYS-HV-S3.6" tower, 29.4 kWh (26.5 kWh usable). Eight modules are the largest configuration that "SolaX" still lists for single-phase "X1-Hybrid G3/G4" inverters, and at the same time already a full small-business storage: for a café, a hair salon or a car workshop that produces solar energy during the day and covers the evening and morning peak from the battery. The tower stands on the floor, enclosure IP65.
For a small business and a large farm
26.5 kWh of usable energy lets you shift a large part of the daytime production into the evening and reduce purchases during grid peak hours. For a home such a capacity makes sense when daily consumption exceeds 50 kWh – for example two electric cars and electric heating. Compared with the 25.8 kWh variant you get one more module in the same tower; compared with 33.1 kWh, it is the last configuration that also suits single-phase inverters. Under the terms of the planned 2026 APVA call, the compensation is calculated per capacity (170 €/kWh, up to 15 kWh).
Power and voltage
Eight modules operate in the 360–465 V range (409.6 V nominal); rated power 14.3 kW, maximum 20.4 kW. With the 30 A "X3-Hybrid G4" battery port about 12.3 kW is available. The upper operating voltage of 465 V already approaches the 480 V limit of the "X1-Hybrid G4" – so a ninth module is no longer possible in a single-phase system, and further expansion is only possible with a three-phase inverter.
Installation
The tower is 510 × 365 × 1,347 mm, about 295 kg with the base – plan a place with free access from the front (more than 400 mm) and a floor rated for more than 500 kg/m². Charging is possible from 0 °C, discharging from −20 °C, with the heating function enabled from −30 °C.
Compatibility
HS28.8 is in the "SolaX" declaration with "X1-Hybrid G3/G4" (the last suitable step) and "X3-Hybrid G2/G4", and in the battery selection guide with "X3-Ultra". With the "X3-Ultra" eight modules are the last configuration that, according to the manufacturer's guide, is connected as one tower without a "Series Box". Communication is CAN 2.0 or RS485; we check the inverter model and firmware before the order.
Safety and warranty
LFP cells, an aerosol fire suppression module, a 750 V / 60 A fuse, more than 6,000 cycles. The EU warranty is 10 years on the hardware; at least 70% of nominal energy or 11.2 MWh of throughput per module is guaranteed.
