Description

The Dyness Tower Pro TP15 is a four-module high-voltage (HV) tower, 15.36 kWh (14.592 kWh usable). It is the configuration that used the full 15 kWh limit of previous APVA calls (support went to those already installed, so it pays to install and prepare the documents in advance), and 15.36 kWh is enough for a home with a heat pump and a 10–15 kW solar plant.

Capacity for a home with a heat pump

Four 3.84 kWh modules work in the 336–432 V range and deliver up to 15.36 kW (1C, 40 A) – in the evening the battery powers the heat pump, the oven and other household appliances at the same time; the actual power is limited by your hybrid inverter. On days with little sun (in winter or otherwise) the battery can be charged from the grid at night according to the inverter's time schedule and feed the heating during the day. If needed, capacity is expanded with modules up to 6 (23.04 kWh) on the same base. Expansion is possible within 3 years of commissioning (Dyness recommends within 2; later only after prior agreement with Dyness technical support), only with identical HV9640 modules whose production dates differ by no more than 3 years, and after the manufacturer's state-of-charge matching procedure – carried out by the installer.

Installation and location

Modules stack without internal cables. The IP55 enclosure and the operating temperature limits allow the tower to stand in an unheated room: discharge from −10 °C (from −20 °C per the manufacturer's 2026 datasheet), charge from 0 °C; with the optional heating function both from −20 °C. The base and the control unit are fixed to the wall as the manual requires (brackets and anchor bolts are included), and the included 2 m power and communication cables mean the tower stands next to the inverter. Dimensions 587 × 310 × 1218 mm, weight 190.5 kg (per the manufacturer's 2026 datasheet) – a level floor is needed.

Inverter compatibility

Tower Pro is on the 2026 Dyness compatibility list with Kostal, Ingeteam, Solis, GoodWe, SAJ, Deye, Hoymiles, Solinteg and Kaco inverters; it communicates with the inverter over CAN or RS485. On the Dyness list TP15 is marked with Solis S6-EH3P(3–10)K-H (PRO) and S6-EH3P(12–20)K-H hybrid inverters; on the 12–20 kW models the battery option “Dyness HV” is selected, and for the 3–10 kW model we check the exact variant and firmware against your inverter label before ordering. With the Solis 12 kW and 15 kW models the battery delivers the inverter's full battery power; with the 20 kW model the battery is the limit – up to 15.36 kW (40 A at nominal voltage).

Safety and warranty

LiFePO4 cells, a built-in aerosol fire-suppression system, passive cell balancing by the BMS, at least 8,000 charge cycles (0.2C, 25 °C, 95 % DoD, to 70 % EOL) and a 10-year manufacturer's warranty – valid with a compatible inverter and active BMS communication (3 years without it); after registration on the Dyness website an extension to 15 years can be purchased (subject to Dyness conditions).
