Description

The Dyness Tower Pro BDU is the smart control unit with the BMS that acts as the "brain" of high-voltage (HV) Dyness Tower Pro energy storage systems. It is an essential component – without it the Tower Pro modules cannot operate. It keeps the whole system running smoothly, safely and efficiently in homes and commercial sites alike: farms, manufacturing plants, workshops, petrol stations and hotels.

Smart passive cell balancing and longevity protection

The Tower Pro BMS continuously monitors the state of every connected module in real time. Its integrated passive cell-balancing system equalises cell voltages across charge and discharge cycles; the manufacturer recommends charging the system fully from time to time. This directly protects the cells from overcharge and deep discharge and helps the cells last; the manufacturer provides a 10-year warranty; after registration on the Dyness website an extension to 15 years can be purchased.

System safety and factory aerosol fire suppression

In commercial and private premises safety is the top priority. The control unit has built-in protection algorithms against short circuits, current surges and overheating. In addition, the Tower Pro system has a factory-fitted aerosol fire extinguisher.

Flexible scalability and expansion management

The Dyness Tower Pro BMS is designed to manage modular vertical systems. One control unit, mounted on top of the modules (the base is at the bottom), manages 2 to 6 capacity modules in one tower, reaching up to 23.04 kWh. It also keeps your system easy to expand in future – it supports parallel connection (clustering) of up to 12 towers for a total energy reserve of up to 276.48 kWh.

Seamless Wi-Fi monitoring and inverter compatibility

The communication hardware built into the control unit links the system via CAN/RS485 to the hybrid inverters on the Dyness compatibility list (Solis, Deye, GoodWe, Kostal, Solinteg, Hoymiles and the other listed brands). Thanks to the integrated Wi-Fi connection, the controller sends all data to the smart monitoring app, so on your phone or computer you see accurate real-time information about system operation and stored energy.
