Description

The Dyness Tower Pro TP11 is a three-module high-voltage (HV) tower, 11.52 kWh (10.944 kWh usable). In our experience it suits a home that uses about 300–500 kWh a month and has a 6–10 kW solar plant: the daytime surplus fills the battery and the evening and night run from it. The tower is 998 mm tall and 150 kg (per the manufacturer's 2026 datasheet) – it stands on the floor next to the inverter.

Capacity the sun can actually fill

Three 3.84 kWh modules work in the 252–324 V range and deliver up to 11.52 kW (1C) – more than a typical home draws at once; the actual power is limited by your hybrid inverter's ratings. If you need more, modules are added on the same base up to 6 (23.04 kWh). Expansion is possible within 3 years of commissioning (Dyness recommends within 2; later only after prior agreement with Dyness technical support), only with identical HV9640 modules whose production dates differ by no more than 3 years, and after the manufacturer's state-of-charge matching procedure – carried out by the installer.

Installation and location

Modules stack without internal cables; the connectors mate as they are placed. The IP55 enclosure and the operating temperature limits allow the tower to stand in an unheated room: discharge from −10 °C (from −20 °C per the manufacturer's 2026 datasheet), charge from 0 °C; with the optional heating function both from −20 °C. The base and the control unit are fixed to the wall as the manual requires (brackets and anchor bolts are included), and the included 2 m power and communication cables mean the tower stands next to the inverter. Dimensions 587 × 310 × 998 mm.

Inverter compatibility

Tower Pro is on the 2026 Dyness compatibility list with Kostal, Ingeteam, Solis, GoodWe, SAJ, Deye, Hoymiles, Solinteg and Kaco inverters; it communicates with the inverter over CAN or RS485. On the Dyness list TP11 is marked with Solis S6-EH3P(3–10)K-H (PRO) and S6-EH3P(12–20)K-H hybrid inverters; on the 12–20 kW models the battery option “Dyness HV” is selected, and for the 3–10 kW model we check the exact variant and firmware against your inverter label before ordering.

Safety and warranty

LiFePO4 cells, a built-in aerosol fire-suppression system, passive cell balancing by the BMS, at least 8,000 charge cycles (0.2C, 25 °C, 95 % DoD, to 70 % EOL) and a 10-year manufacturer's warranty – valid with a compatible inverter and active BMS communication (3 years without it); after registration on the Dyness website an extension to 15 years can be purchased (subject to Dyness conditions). In previous APVA calls, compensation was calculated per kWh of battery capacity and granted to those already installed, and the funds ran out within a day, so it pays to install and prepare the documents in advance; the conditions of the new call will be published by APVA (the Energy Ministry's 2026 call plan mentions a rate of 170 €/kWh).
