Description

The Dyness STACK100-4S is a four-module high-voltage (HV) LiFePO4 battery: 20.48 kWh nominal capacity, 19.46 kWh usable energy (95% DOD). It is the variant for a home where a heat pump or an electric hob and oven run alongside normal consumption and the solar plant is 10–15 kW – it covers one evening and night with a margin. Indoor installation (IP20), tower height 768 mm.

Why the fourth module changes more than capacity

Four modules raise the voltage window to 179–233 V, and it is from the 4S that the Dyness list adds Deye SUN-5K~25K-SG01HP3-EU-AM2 and the 29.9–50 kW models, GoodWe GW6-15K-ET-20, Hoymiles HY3 / HYT / HAT, the Solinteg MHT series, Solis RHI-3P(5-10)K-HVES-5G and S6-EH3P(29.9-50)K-H, Senergy and Sineng SN5.0~15HT. If your inverter is one of these, the 3S will not do regardless of your capacity needs – the 4S is the smallest permitted configuration.

Capacity and power

Recommended charge and discharge power is 10.24 kW (0.5C), with short peaks up to 20.48 kW (1C): the battery serves a 10 kW hybrid inverter without limitation and still has headroom. Capacity is expanded with identical S51100 modules on the same base – up to 12 per column recommended.

Installation and location

Dimensions 591 × 390 × 768 mm, weight 210 kg – a level floor and two people are needed for assembly; there are no cables between modules. Charging from 0 °C, discharging from −20 °C (the heated version charges from −20 °C), noise up to 55 dB.

Inverter compatibility

Besides these, the 4S list keeps every 3S inverter – Solis S6-EH3P(3-10)K-H(PRO) and S6-EH3P(12-20)K-H, Kostal PLENTICORE G2 / G3, Ingeteam, SAJ, Solinteg MHS, Sunways, Dunext, Livoltek, Megarevo. Communication is CAN or RS485, both cables included; we check your inverter model against its label before you order.

Safety and warranty

The warranty period starts at the first commissioning or 180 days after shipment from the factory, whichever comes first; the 10 years apply only with an active connection to a listed inverter (3 years without it), guaranteeing at least 70% of usable energy or 60.36 MWh of throughput. LiFePO4 cells, an extinguisher in every module, more than 8,000 cycles. Under the terms of previous APVA calls, the grant is calculated on capacity (170 €/kWh, up to 15 kWh) – the 4S exceeds that limit.
