Description

The Dyness STACK100-3S is a three-module high-voltage (HV) LiFePO4 battery: 15.36 kWh nominal capacity, 14.59 kWh usable energy (95% DOD). It is the smallest STACK100 configuration for a home with a 5–10 kW solar plant: the capacity matches previous APVA calls's 15 kWh limit, and the 634 mm tower fits under a workbench in a garage or boiler room. Indoor installation only (IP20).

Capacity and power

Three 5.12 kWh modules operate in the 134–175 V range. Recommended charge and discharge power is 7.68 kW (0.5C), with short peaks up to 15.36 kW (1C). If you need more capacity later, additional S51100 modules are added to the same tower (up to 12 per column recommended). The 4S variant (20.48 kWh) differs by one module, but its voltage window opens a much wider inverter list.

Installation and location

The modules and the controller (BDU) stack on the base with no internal wiring; assembly needs two people. Dimensions 591 × 390 × 634 mm, weight 163 kg; wall brackets are included. Charging from 0 °C, discharging from −20 °C (the heated version charges from −20 °C); fan cooling produces up to 55 dB, so a technical room suits the battery best.

Inverter compatibility

The 134–175 V window is the lowest in the series, so the 3S has the shortest list of compatible inverters. In the official Dyness list (12/2025) the 3S is marked with Solis S6-EH3P(3-10)K-H(PRO), S6-EH3P(5-10)K2-H(EU), S6-EH3P(12-20)K-H and RHI-1P7.6K-HVES-5G, Kostal PLENTICORE plus G2 / BI G2 / G3 / MP G3, Ingeteam INGECON SUN STORAGE 3TL–6TLM, SAJ H2-3K~6K-S2, Solinteg MHS-3K~8K-30, Sineng SN-3.0~6.0HS, Sunways STH-3~8K TL-HS, Dunext, Livoltek and Megarevo. Deye, GoodWe and Hoymiles models only appear in the list from the 4S upwards, Growatt from the 5S. Communication with the inverter is CAN or RS485 (both cables included); we check your inverter model against its label before you order.

Safety and warranty

Safety comes from LiFePO4 cells, an aerosol extinguisher in each of the three modules and BMS cell balancing. The warranty in Europe is 10 years with an active inverter connection (3 years without it), at least 70% of usable energy or 45.27 MWh of throughput. Under the terms of previous APVA calls, the grant is calculated on capacity (170 €/kWh, up to 15 kWh) – the 3S uses that limit in full.
