Description

The Solplanet ASW15K-LT-G2 Pro is a 15 kW three-phase grid inverter for a larger house with a heat pump, a farm or a small business, when the PV plant is planned at 15–22.5 kWp. It accepts three strings – two in MPPT input A and one in input B – and feeds up to 24 A per phase into a 3/N/PE 400 V grid. The 17 kg IP66 enclosure is wall-mounted outdoors, in a garage or a boiler room; cooling is by fan. No battery can be connected to this inverter.

Three strings – asymmetric inputs

MPPT input A accepts up to 32 A (48 A short-circuit), so two identical strings are connected to it in parallel, e.g. from the main south-facing roof plane; input B (20 A, 30 A short-circuit) is for a single string on another plane or on an outbuilding. This layout lets you use the full 22.5 kWp. Full power is delivered at a string voltage of 400–850 V, MPPT range 150–1 000 V, start-up from 180 V.

Between the 8 kW and 17 kW models

Compared with the 8 kW model, the 15K has a third string, a higher current on input A (32 A instead of 20 A) and active cooling, so it is best hung in a technical room or on an outside wall rather than next to a bedroom. If you need four strings or plan more than 22.5 kWp of modules, choose the 17 kW model – both of its inputs are symmetrical at 32 A. Efficiency 98.6 % (European 98.2 %), night-time consumption below 1 W.

Communication and export limiting

LED indicators and the Solplanet app (Android, iOS) through a Wi-Fi or LAN dongle in the COM3 port, 4G optional; one dongle monitors up to 5 inverters. We confirm whether the dongle is in the box when you order. A Modbus RTU meter is connected over RS485 (RJ45) up to 100 m away – the inverter limits feed-in to the grid down to zero.

Mounting, protections and warranty

Wall bracket, vertical or tilted back by up to 15°, clearances 500 mm above and below, 300 mm at the sides; operation from −25 °C to +60 °C. Integrated DC switch, type II surge protection on the DC and AC sides, residual-current, DC reverse-polarity and anti-islanding protection. In the box: inverter, bracket, 3 pairs of PV connectors, AC connector, screws. Warranty per AISWEI terms – 5 or 10 years as agreed in the purchase contract, extendable to 20 years.
