Description

The Fronius Eco 25.0-3-S is a three-phase 25 kW transformerless string inverter built for large PV plants. One MPP tracker with six DC inputs accepts up to 44.2 A across a 580–850 V window and suits arrays of up to 37.8 kWp. Peak efficiency reaches 98.2%, European efficiency 98.0%. Integrated string-fuse holders, a DC disconnector and a DIN rail for an optional type 2 surge protection device do away with a separate combiner box. The IP66 enclosure (35.7 kg) works indoors or outdoors from -25 to +60 °C, and the SnapINverter mounting system makes installation noticeably faster. Dynamic Peak Manager regularly scans the whole power curve and finds the true maximum power point even in partial shade. The standard Datamanager 2.0 sends data to Fronius Solar.web over WLAN or LAN, hosts a built-in web server and supports Modbus TCP SunSpec. With a Fronius Smart Meter TS 65A-3 on Modbus RTU, the inverter dynamically limits grid feed-in all the way down to 0 W.
