Description

The Huawei SUN2000-8KTL-M1 is a three-phase 8 kW string inverter for home solar plants that comes battery-ready. Its two MPP trackers take a recommended 12,000 Wp of modules (up to 20,000 Wp with Huawei optimizers) at up to 1,100 V DC input. Peak efficiency reaches 98.6%, while night-time consumption stays below 5.5 W. AFCI protection cuts a DC arc within 0.5 s, and Type II surge protection covers both the DC and AC sides. The fanless IP65 housing operates from -25 to +60 °C and weighs 17 kg with the bracket. Monitoring runs over integrated WLAN and the FusionSolar app, communication over RS485 or a Smart Dongle (WLAN/Ethernet, optional 4G), and the manufacturer warranty in Europe is 10 years. At home it pairs with a LUNA2000-5/10/15-S0 or 7/14/21-S1 battery (charging up to 10,000 W, discharging up to 8,800 W) and a Backup Box-B1 that supplies up to 3,300 VA during a grid outage.
