Description

The SolaX X3-Hybrid-15.0-D is the most powerful model of the standard G4 series: 15 kW rated power, array up to 30 kWp, EPS 15 kVA. It is meant for a large house with a heat pump and a sauna, a workshop, a farm or a small business where the evening demand and the permitted generating power reach 15 kW. It differs from the 15 kW PRO by its single battery port, two MPPTs, IP65 housing and the lead-acid batteries it allows; in return it is 8 kg lighter and simpler. Unlike the smaller G4 models, the output here equals the rating – 15 kVA without the 110 % margin.

Array up to 30 kWp

Three strings on two MPPTs: PV1 – two strings up to 28 A (35 A short-circuit), PV2 – one up to 16 A. MPPT window 180–950 V, start-up 200 V, maximum PV voltage 1,000 V. A 30 kWp array keeps the inverter closer to its rating on winter days and in cloudy weather. Rated output current 21.8 A, maximum 24.1 A per phase. From the grid for battery charging – up to 20 kVA (32 A).

Battery for 15 kW

Port 120–800 V, 30 A. The full 15 kW from the battery comes from a tower with a nominal voltage of at least 500 V: 10 modules of T-BAT SYS-HV-S36 (36.8 kWh, 512 V) or 10 modules of TSYS-HS51 (51.2 kWh). With 8 modules (409.6 V) the battery delivers about 12 kW – enough for most homes, while full power makes sense for a workshop or a farm. If you need more battery power than 30 A allows, choose the 15 kW PRO with two ports.

Backup

EPS 15 kVA, switchover faster than 10 ms, 10 s peak 22.5 kVA. Unbalanced output up to 5 kW per phase. For switching the whole site – the X3-EPS Box (up to 63 A per phase). For larger sites up to 10 inverters are paralleled (without the EPS function).

Installation and safety

Housing 503 × 503 × 199 mm, 30 kg, IP65, fan up to 45 dB – a plant room, a garage or an outdoor wall under a canopy. Operating temperature −35 °C to +60 °C (derating above 45 °C). Type II SPD on the DC and AC side, DC switch, insulation and residual-current monitoring.

Official SolaX list: T-BAT SYS-HV-S36 (with X3 G4 – 4–13 modules), TSYS-HS51 (3–13), T-BAT H 3.0 and T-BAT H 5.8 (2–4; more with the BMS Parallel Box). Communication RS485, DRM, CT or meter, SolaX Cloud via the Pocket Wi-Fi + LAN dongle. Warranty 5 years, 10 years with SolaX Cloud registration.
