Description

The SolaX X3-HYB-12.0-P is a 12 kW (up to 13.2 kVA) three-phase hybrid inverter of the G4 PRO series with two battery ports and three MPPTs. It differs from the 10 kW PRO by more power, a 24 kWp array limit, a 24 kVA EPS peak and a fan; from the 15 kW PRO – only by power and current, the housing is the same. It is chosen for a home with 12 kW of permitted power that has a heat pump and plans a large battery, or for a small business that values backup with a generator.

Battery: two towers or one at 50 A

Two ports, 120–800 V (about 400 V recommended): 30 A to one, 2 × 25 A to two, 50 A to one tower with the 2-in-1 cable (sold separately). You get the full 12 kW from one tower through 30 A from 8 modules (409.6 V), and with the 2-in-1 cable the same 8 modules at 50 A deliver more than the inverter can output – the battery is no longer the limit. Two towers of 5 modules (256 V × 25 A ≈ 6.4 kW each) together give 12.8 kW. Only lithium batteries connect.

Array up to 24 kWp

Three MPPTs at 20 A (25 A short-circuit), window 110–950 V, start-up 120 V, full power 330–800 V. Three strings on three planes, or two long south strings and a short third one. Rated output current 17.5 A, maximum 20.0 A per phase. Maximum efficiency 98.0 %, European 97.7 %.

Backup

EPS 12 kVA, switchover faster than 10 ms, 10 s peak 24 kVA – double the rating for starting motors. Generator and microgrid modes for long outages. For switching the whole site – the X3-EPS Box. In parallel – up to 10 inverters.

Installation and communication

Housing 560 × 503 × 210 mm, 38 kg, IP66, fan (noise up to 45 dB) – a plant room, a garage, an outdoor wall under a canopy. Operating temperature −35 °C to +60 °C (derating above 45 °C). Type II SPD on the DC and AC side, insulation and residual-current monitoring, optional AFCI. Communication: RS485, CAN, DRM, DI/DO, heat-pump and DataHub terminals, LCD display, DTSU666 meter or CT; SolaX Cloud via the Pocket Wi-Fi + LAN dongle.

Official SolaX list for the PRO series: T-BAT SYS-HV-S36, S51, S25 (3–13 modules per port), HV-3.0 and T58 (2–4), S50E-D and T58 V3 (2–6). Warranty 5 years; once connected to SolaX Cloud and registered – 10 years.
