Description

The Solplanet HB051050B is the battery module of the Ai-HB G2 Pro series: 2.56 kWh (usable 2.43 kWh), 50 Ah, 51.2 V nominal voltage, LiFePO4. An Ai-HB Pro tower is built from these modules – from 3 (075A) to 8 (200A) on one BCU. It is bought separately to expand an existing tower or to assemble a second one; without a BCU and base the module does not operate.

How expansion works

The modules are stacked on top of each other and joined by plug-in connections without internal wiring; 2 M5×25 screws are supplied. Each module adds 2.56 kWh, 31 kg and 130 mm of height and raises the tower's nominal voltage by 51.2 V: a 075A becomes a 100A, a 150A becomes a 175A. Expansion is only with HB051050B modules of the same series.

What to check before expanding

After expansion the tower's voltage window changes (for example from 240–350.4 V to 280–408.8 V) and must remain within the inverter range (ASW kH-T3 – 120–600 V). Expansion makes sense when the plant's surplus can fill the larger capacity – for example after the plant has been enlarged or a heat pump has been added. We check the existing tower configuration and the inverter model before the order.

Dimensions and safety

540 × 390 mm footprint, about 130 mm tall, 31 kg. Inside is an aerosol extinguisher (30 g, triggered when the module temperature reaches 185 °C); over-voltage, over-current and over-temperature protection is handled by the tower's BCU. Charge from +2 °C, discharge from −28 °C, IP65 in the system.

Cycles and warranty

8,000 cycles (90 % DOD, 70 % EOL, 0.2C, 25 °C), efficiency ≥95 %. The module is covered by the AISWEI battery warranty terms as part of the Ai-HB Pro system; we clarify the terms for a separately purchased module before the order.
