Description

The Dyness STACK314-5S is a five-module high-voltage (HV) LiFePO4 battery: 80.4 kWh nominal capacity, 76.4 kWh usable energy (95% DOD). This configuration suits a farm or production workshop with a 50 kW solar plant, where a large surplus builds up during the day and consumption continues into the evening – milking equipment, cold rooms, compressors. The single-column system, 1,443 mm high, stands indoors on the floor.

Capacity and power

Five 16.08 kWh modules operate in the 224–292 V range (nominal voltage 256 V). The recommended 140 A current corresponds to 35.8 kW, the maximum continuous 200 A to 51.2 kW, so the 5S is the first in the series able to serve a 50 kW class hybrid inverter at full power without battery limitation. It differs from the 4S by one module and one more inverter manufacturer in the list; it expands up to 8S (128.64 kWh) in the same column.

Installation and location

The SBDU200 controller with its integrated DC breaker is placed on the base and the five modules stack above it without internal wiring; wall brackets, CAN and RS485 cables and 50 mm² power cables come in the package. Dimensions 770 × 425 × 1,443 mm, weight about 613 kg, so on upper floors the floor load must be assessed. Indoor installation (IP20), away from flammable materials; charging from 0 °C, discharging from −20 °C, optimum temperature 18–30 °C.

Inverter compatibility

In the Dyness list (06/2026) five modules are marked with Deye SUN-29.9–50K-SG01HP3-EU-BM3/4 and SUN-60–80K-SG02HP3-EU-EM6, Growatt WIT 29.9–50K-XHU (from 5S), Hiconics MH-HYIV29.9/30.0-TH, Solinteg MHT-25–50K-100 and M2HT-25–50K-150, Solis S6-EH3P(3–10)K-H, S6-EH3P(12–20)K-H and S6-EH3P(29.9–50)K-H, Sosen SSE-HH30-60K-P3 and SRNE IESP 50–60kW. ATESS HPS 30–50 kW models appear only from 6 modules. Communication is CAN or RS485; we check your inverter model against its label before you order.

Safety and warranty

Five aerosol fire extinguishers – one in every module – and a DC breaker in the controller; the BMS balances the cells and protects against overcharge, overcurrent and temperature. More than 8,000 cycles (0.2C, 25 °C), UN38.3 and IEC 62619. The manufacturer's warranty is 10 years under the Dyness warranty terms; the system is registered through the Dyness app, which shows the state of charge and allows firmware updates.
