Description

Solplanet ASW10kH-T3 is a 10 kW three-phase hybrid inverter with three MPPTs, a 120–600 V battery port and a backup (EPS) output. It is meant for a house with a 10–15 kWp PV array, a 10 kW export permit and evening loads – heat pump, kitchen, household appliances – that stay below 10 kW. It is the smaller of the two ASW kH-T3 models – with a 32 A breaker, but the same 30 A battery current and enclosure as the 12 kW.

PV array up to 15 kWp

Three strings, one per MPPT (16 A, up to 10 kW per tracker), let you split 15 kWp across three roof planes. The 150 % oversizing is clipped at 10 kW around summer noon, but in spring, autumn and on cloudy days the battery is charged earlier. The full 10 kW is available when string voltage is 320–850 V; start-up at 180 V, MPPT window 200–950 V, input up to 1,100 V.

Battery power and voltage

The battery port delivers and accepts up to 30 A, so the inverter reaches its full 10 kW battery power only when battery voltage is no lower than about 333 V. With Ai-HB G2 Pro that means seven modules (rated voltage 358.4 V, 17.92 kWh); four- to six-module towers deliver about 6.1–9.2 kW through the inverter's 30 A port at rated voltage – enough for a house without a heat pump, only power decreases as the battery discharges. With the two-module Ai-HB G2 (5 kWh) the manufacturer limits PV open-circuit voltage to 750 V. From the grid the inverter takes up to 20 kW (29 A per phase) – to charge the battery at night and feed the loads.

Backup during an outage

The EPS output takes over the backup circuits in less than 10 ms. Without the grid it delivers 10 kVA – 3,333 W per phase (14.5 A), with a 10 s peak of 20 kVA for starting a fridge or a pump. While the grid is present, up to 6,667 W per phase flows to the loads through the EPS output. Unbalanced phase loading depends on the unit version – we check it before ordering.

Installation and communication

Enclosure 545 × 205 × 465 mm, 26 kg, IP66, fanless (below 35 dB), temperature −25 °C to +60 °C. Rated grid current 14.5 A, maximum 16 A, recommended 32 A breaker. Included: Ai-Dongle (Wi-Fi and LAN), smart meter, three CTs, bracket and connectors; BMS communication via CAN, Solplanet app.

Compatibility and warranty

The official Solplanet list names Ai-HB G2 / G2 Pro / G2-E / AP-H, Pylontech Powercube and Force-H, Dyness Tower T7 / T10 / T14 / T17, BYD HVS / HVM. AISWEI warranty is 5 or 10 years depending on the supply contract; under the factory terms it can be extended (total period up to 20 years), the extension being ordered within 2 years of shipment – we confirm the terms before ordering.
