Description

The Solis S6-EH3P15K-H is a three-phase 15 kW hybrid inverter for a high-voltage (120–800 V) battery, the smaller of the two S6-EH3P(12-20)K-H platform models we offer. It is intended for a large house with a heat pump, a farm or a workshop where the permitted generating capacity is 15 kW and the array is 15–24 kW. It differs from the 10 and 12 kW models by its 7-inch display, built-in Wi-Fi and LAN, generator port and fans. The IP66 enclosure is wall-mounted in a technical room or outdoors.

Power and array size

Rated power 15 kW (15 kVA), output current 22.8 A per phase. Four MPPTs with one string each accept 20 A, full power is reached in the 300–850 V range, the input is up to 1,000 V. Up to 24 kW is used from the modules, and no more than 30 kW is recommended for connection. If the permit or the evening loads exceed 15 kW, choose the 20 kW model – the enclosure and weight are the same.

Battery, backup and generator

Battery window 120–800 V, current up to 50 A, charging power up to 15 kW – full power is reached with a battery of at least 300 V. When the grid fails, the backup line switches over in under 10 ms, delivers 15 kW and, according to the datasheet, withstands a 1.6-times overload for 10 s; up to 6 kW per phase (40 %). A three-phase generator of up to 15 kW is connected to the separate GEN port and started by a dry contact. Charging is scheduled by tariff periods, and SG Ready heat pump and EMS integration are supported.

Battery compatibility

In the official Solis list (GLOBAL-V3.6), the S6-EH3P(12-20)K-H is listed with BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS/HVM, Pylontech Force H1/H2/H3, Dyness Tower, Tower Pro TP7–TP19 and PowerRack HV, LG, Pytes and other batteries; communication is CAN-BMS or RS485. An incompatible battery voids the warranty, so we check the storage model before ordering.

Installation, communication and warranty

Dimensions 563 × 250 × 546 mm (width × depth × height), weight 35.2 kg, M10 anchor bolts included. The fans produce up to 65 dB – install it in a technical room or outdoors; operates at −25 to +60 °C. 7-inch LCD, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and LAN built in; the datalogger and an Eastron meter or current clamps are in the box depending on the configuration. Built-in DC switch; AFCI and Type II arresters are optional. Manufacturer warranty in Europe – 5 years, extension under Solis terms.
