Households and micro-enterprises that purchased an EV under Social Climate Fund measures

  • The European Commission approved Lithuania's Social Climate Fund plan on 5 June 2026 (total plan — €883.81M)
  • Measure C2.F.I12 allocates €9.98M (2026–2032), targeting 6,880 private charging points
  • Support is limited to vulnerable households and micro-enterprises that purchased an EV under the fund's measures; only points up to 22 kW are compensated
  • One charging point is compensated per EV purchased under the fund (verified by VIN); purchase, installation and dynamic load management accessories are funded
  • The related EV-purchase measure (~€59.96M from 2027, 54 municipalities excluding the 6 largest cities): households get up to 90% of the price (max €20,000 new / €12,000 used) — conditions are expected to be approved by the end of 2026
  • The plan was publicly presented on 3 September 2026; the Ministry of Transport will direct ~€440M to 2026–2032 transport-sector changes
  • A separate measure C2.F.I7 allocates €21.05M for public charging points (1,000 points in 54 municipalities excluding the 6 largest cities; call also in Q1 2027)
Social Climate Plan (am.lrv.lt, 12 Mar 2026)

Situation today (10 September 2026)

There are still no open subsidy calls for either charging stations or energy storage — APVA's planned-calls table (updated 4 September 2026) contains no storage calls, and the Ministry of Energy's page now says residential financing measures are under review in light of Government priorities. Q3 ends on 30 September, so the promised calls are effectively slipping into autumn; on 9 September 2026 the Government approved ministry measures that foresee combining solar-plant and storage support. The extra ~€9M for storage and ~€18M for packages remain only an intention (not yet allocated). EV purchase calls remain open, but ~€10M of the €20M was used in the first month: ~€5.9M left for individuals (10 Sept, APVIS) and ~€4.6M for legal entities — don't wait. The previous storage call's funds were reserved in under two days — prepare your application in advance.
