Support
Private charging stations for residents (LEA call)
Budget of about €1Mcompensation rate not yet published
Planned · Q4 2026
Private individuals installing a charging station of up to 22 kW at home, at a summer house or in an apartment building (under the previous calls' rules; the new call's terms are not yet published)
- Official plan: the Lithuanian Energy Agency (LEA) intends to announce a call for private charging stations in Q4 2026 with a budget of about €1M; in its plan updated on 10 July 2026 the Ministry of Energy earmarked €1M of support for residents' charging stations to be announced by the end of the year
- There is no active call at the moment: the previous calls closed on 30 September 2025 and payment claims were accepted until 8 June 2026 (checked 14 September 2026) — follow ena.lt and esinvesticijos.lt
- Terms of the previous programme (as a guide): detached houses 40% of the fixed rate for up to 11 kW or 30% for 11–22 kW, apartment buildings 60% / 45%; fixed rates €831–1,077 for a wall-mounted and €948–1,347 for a ground-mounted station
- Power was capped at 22 kW and a dynamic load-management function was required; applications could be submitted before installation
- The 2022–2026 programme (€21.45M) funded 21,651 charging points and paid out €21.42M (LEA, 7 Sept 2026) — the new budget is ~20 times smaller, so the funds will likely be reserved within days: have a station with dynamic load management and an installation quote ready in advance
- Publicly accessible points for businesses are supported separately — a €10M call is planned for Q4 2026 (APVA plan), and from 2027 vulnerable households will be covered by the Social Climate Fund measure (see the next block)
Situation today (10 September 2026)
There are still no open subsidy calls for either charging stations or energy storage — APVA's planned-calls table (updated 4 September 2026) contains no storage calls, and the Ministry of Energy's page now says residential financing measures are under review in light of Government priorities. Q3 ends on 30 September, so the promised calls are effectively slipping into autumn; on 9 September 2026 the Government approved ministry measures that foresee combining solar-plant and storage support. The extra ~€9M for storage and ~€18M for packages remain only an intention (not yet allocated). EV purchase calls remain open, but ~€10M of the €20M was used in the first month: ~€5.9M left for individuals (10 Sept, APVIS) and ~€4.6M for legal entities — don't wait. The previous storage call's funds were reserved in under two days — prepare your application in advance.
