- In the Ministry of Energy's 2026 plan the grant is adjusted from €380 down to €170 per kWh of storage capacity
- 10 Sept 2026: the call is still not announced (absent from APVA's 4 Sept table), and the ministry's page says residential measures are under review — watch APVIS
- On 23 June 2026 the ministry announced it is working to add about €9M to the storage measure in H2 2026
- Under previous call rules, support covered up to 15 kWh per property (the final cap will be confirmed with the call)
- New CE-marked lithium iron phosphate (LFP) and lithium-ion batteries qualify
- Applications are submitted via APVIS after installation (compensation principle)
- The November 2025 call (€379.73/kWh LFP / €313.81/kWh lithium-ion, €7.85M) was fully reserved in under two days — 1,500 applications worth €8.4M
Situation today (10 September 2026)
There are still no open subsidy calls for either charging stations or energy storage — APVA's planned-calls table (updated 4 September 2026) contains no storage calls, and the Ministry of Energy's page now says residential financing measures are under review in light of Government priorities. Q3 ends on 30 September, so the promised calls are effectively slipping into autumn; on 9 September 2026 the Government approved ministry measures that foresee combining solar-plant and storage support. The extra ~€9M for storage and ~€18M for packages remain only an intention (not yet allocated). EV purchase calls remain open, but ~€10M of the €20M was used in the first month: ~€5.9M left for individuals (10 Sept, APVIS) and ~€4.6M for legal entities — don't wait. The previous storage call's funds were reserved in under two days — prepare your application in advance.
