Teltonika EVC 2 22 kW with a tethered 5 m Type 2 cable (manufacturer code EVC2002120S0) is the most complete variant: the highest power in the series, a tethered cable with holder and CT clamps in one box. On three phases the station delivers up to 22 kW (32 A per phase), on a single-phase supply 7.4 kW. Supplied without a front plate.

When the 22 kW cable is worth choosing

This is the solution when one car always charges in the same bay: for a car with a 22 kW on-board charger, for a company vehicle in the business yard, and for a home with a single-phase supply, where the 22 kW model delivers 7.4 kW on one phase instead of 3.7 kW. Compared with the 11 kW cable version it needs a 40 A circuit breaker and a stronger supply, but the box already contains the CT clamps that the 11 kW variant requires you to buy separately. If many different cars will use the station, the 22 kW socket version is more practical.

Dynamic load balancing from day one

With the supplied CT clamps fitted on the supply phases (recommended wiring length up to 15 m), the station sees the whole house's or company's consumption and reduces the charging current in real time so as not to overload the supply; when less than 6 A per phase remains, it switches to single-phase charging. Several stations share power via DLM on the second RS-485 port.

Cable, dimensions and installation

The 5 m cable must reach the car's charging port – mount the station according to the car's usual parking position; the manufacturer also has a 7.5 m version (code EVC2002130S0). Housing 190 × 125 × 401 mm, 4.6 kg without cable, IP56, IK10, operating temperature −30 °C to +50 °C. A Type A 30 mA RCD or RCBO is required ahead of the station, supply cable 6–10 mm². The one-piece cable-version front plate is purchased separately.

Solar, connectivity and warranty

With a compatible meter (Eastron SDM72D-M, Shelly Pro 3EM, Eastron SEM3 WL) the Solar only, ECO and ECO+ modes work. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, Ethernet, 4G LTE (nano SIM), NFC card and tag in the box, control via the Teltonika EV Charging app or an OCPP 1.6 back end. Built-in 6 mA DC residual current protection (IEC 62955). A separate support call for private charging stations is planned; the previous programme required dynamic load management. Warranty 36 months, extendable to 60 months at purchase.
