Description

The SolaX X3-EVC-22K(PXC) is a three-phase 22 kW charging station with a fixed 6.5 m Type 2 cable and no LCD screen. It draws up to 32 A on three phases and is intended for cars with a 22 kW on-board charger, for a company car park or an apartment-block yard where different cars charge, and for a house whose supply allows that power. You choose the grid measurement (a CT or a SolaX meter) to suit your system; a CT is not included with this model and is bought separately.

When 22 kW is needed

Only cars with a three-phase 22 kW charger take the full 22 kW; a car with an 11 kW charger will draw 16 A and charge just as it would from an 11 kW station. The 22 kW variant makes sense when cars change, time at the station is short, or you want a reserve for the next car. For the supply this means 32 A per phase: the line needs a Type A RCBO 4P ≥40 A (≤30 mA) and a five-core ≥6 mm² copper cable – if the supply does not allow it, the 11 kW variant is the better fit.

Grid measurement and dynamic management

Dynamic load management reduces the current in real time so the total load does not exceed the main breaker. You choose the measurement to suit the system: a three-phase CT or a SolaX meter via RS485, or with a SolaX inverter from the official list (X3-Hybrid G4, X3-Ultra, X3-IES, X3-HYB G4 Pro, X3-MIC G2, X3-Pro G2 and others) a two-core link through which the station receives the PV data and in GREEN mode charges from PV surplus (start level 3 A or 6 A; at the 6 A level no grid power is drawn).

LED status, RFID and OCPP

Instead of a screen there are LED indicators (available, preparing, charging, complete, network, fault); all information and settings are in the SolaXCloud app. Charging starts when the plug is inserted or with an RFID card (two in the box). OCPP 1.6 JSON matters for a company: the station connects to an operator platform, and this requires a meter in the system. In OCPP mode the cards from the box are not valid – charging is started with the operator's card or a QR code.

Installation and safety

Housing 265 × 155 × 370 mm, 9.5 kg, IP65 / IK08; without a screen the station works from −30 °C to +50 °C, so it suits an open car park. Mounted on a wall (bracket included) or on a SolaX pedestal (sold separately). The protections are the same as across the series: 30 mA AC / 6 mA DC residual current monitoring, overvoltage, overload, short-circuit and over-temperature. Warranty – 3 years under the EU terms, with registration on SolaX Cloud within 90 days of commissioning.
