Description

The SolaX X3-ULT-25K is a three-phase 25 kW hybrid inverter with three MPP trackers and two high-voltage battery ports. It is the variant for a large home with a heat pump, a farm or a workshop where the solar array is 30–50 kWp and the supply and loads fit within 36.3 A per phase. It is wall-mounted outdoors or indoors, IP66 enclosure.

Power and array size

Rated power is 25 kVA, and at ambient temperatures up to 40 °C the inverter delivers up to 27.5 kVA (39.9 A per phase) – a 10 % headroom the 30 kW variant does not have. Two strings connect to each of the three MPP trackers, 36 A per tracker, input up to 1 000 V; 200 % oversizing is allowed – up to 50 kWp. If the array is larger than 50 kWp or the continuous load approaches 25 kW, choose the X3-ULT-30K.

Battery and backup power

Battery charge and discharge power is 24 kW, 30 A on each of the two ports. Full power is reached when the tower voltage is no lower than 400 V – e.g. two towers of 8 T-BAT SYS HV S3.6 or TSYS-HS51 modules each; below 180 V the inverter limits battery current to 20 A, so the smallest sensible configuration is 4 modules per tower. When the grid fails the EPS output supplies 25 kVA, and 50 kVA peaks for 10 s; switchover – under 10 ms, and the power to the phases can be unbalanced.

Compatibility with batteries

The inverter works only with SolaX high-voltage batteries from the manufacturer's list: T-BAT SYS HV S2.5, S3.6 and TSYS-HS51 – 3–13 modules per port, up to 26 in the system; T-BAT H 5.8 and HV 3.0 – 2–4 per port. A third tower connects through the TcBox-70. We match your battery kit before ordering.

Mounting and communication

Dimensions 696 × 240 × 526 mm, weight 48.5 kg – two carrying handles and a wall bracket are included. Operation from −35 °C to +60 °C (derating above +45 °C), noise up to 45 dB. The box contains 6 pairs of PV connectors, battery and AC connectors and a CT; the battery cable comes with the battery. Monitoring in SolaXCloud through a SolaX Pocket Wi-Fi or LAN module, RS485 for the meter and Modbus.

Safety and warranty

Type II surge arresters on the DC and AC side, insulation, residual current and anti-islanding monitoring. EU warranty 5 years; connected to SolaX Cloud and uploading data – 10 years free of charge, registration within 90 days of commissioning.
