Description

The SolaX X3-MGA-60K-G2 is the most powerful three-phase grid inverter of the series: 60 kW, six MPP trackers and up to 90 kWp of modules. It is intended for a site permitted to generate 60 kW, or as a standard building block for a larger plant – on the roofs of production or logistics buildings with several module orientations and pitches. No battery port and no transformer; the IP66 enclosure is wall-mounted outdoors or indoors.

Six trackers for a complex roof

Six MPP trackers accept two strings each – 12 strings, 32 A per tracker, short-circuit current up to 46 A. That is one tracker and two strings more than the 50 kW model: different roof planes or shaded zones go to their own inputs and work independently. Input voltage up to 1 100 V, operating range 180–1 000 V, start-up from 200 V. Under the 150 % rule up to 90 kWp can be connected; if the array does not exceed 75 kWp and the permitted capacity is 50 kW, the X3-MGA-50K-G2 is sufficient.

Power and the AC side

Rated power 60 kW (60 kVA), 87 A per phase; with the 110 % margin – up to 66 kVA and 95.7 A. The service connection must carry this current: a five-core 35–50 mm² copper or 50–70 mm² aluminium cable up to 200 m, breaker greater than 1.25 × 87 A. For a larger plant, up to 60 inverters are connected in parallel through the SolaX DataHub with a shared meter, and export is limited down to zero. Efficiency 98.4 % (European 98.1 %), power factor adjustable between 0.8 and 1, night-time consumption below 2 W.

Installation and package

Enclosure 630 × 286 × 521 mm (W×D×H), 46 kg; operation from −25 °C to +60 °C. Several inverters in a row need 30 cm at the sides and 60 cm above and below, and an awning is recommended outdoors. The package contains the wall bracket, 12 pairs of PV connectors, the communication connector, tools and bolts; OT terminals and the Wi-Fi / LAN / 4G monitoring dongle – separately, we confirm this when you order. The model has no LCD: four LED indicators, with parameters and I–V diagnosis handled remotely.

Safety and warranty

Surge protection (type II) on both sides, a lockable DC switch, insulation, residual current, over-temperature and anti-islanding monitoring; compliance with EN 50549. EU warranty – 5 years; when connected to SolaX Cloud and uploading generation data, 1 further year of parts warranty is added. Registration at eu.solaxcloud.com within 90 days of commissioning.
