Description

The SolaX X3-AELIO-60K is a three-phase 60 kW hybrid inverter with six MPP trackers and two high-voltage battery ports. It is the largest variant of the series in our shop – for a factory, warehouse, farm or hotel where the solar array reaches 100–120 kWp and the continuous load or peaks exceed 50 kW. The enclosure is the same as the 50 kW model's, but with 20 % more power for both the array and the battery.

Power and array size

Rated power is 60 kW (87.0 A per phase), and at ambient temperatures up to +45 °C the inverter delivers up to 66 kVA (95.7 A per phase) – cables and the main breaker are sized for this current. Six MPP trackers take 12 strings, 40 A per tracker, input up to 1 000 V, operating range 160–950 V; 200 % oversizing is allowed – up to 120 kWp. Six trackers instead of five allow more roof planes of different orientation to be optimised separately. For larger sites up to 10 inverters run in parallel – up to 600 kW.

Battery and backup power

Battery charge and discharge power is 60 kW, current up to 80 A on each of the two ports, voltage window 180–820 V, 650 V recommended. That is 10 kW more than the 50K variant – the storage absorbs the midday generation surplus faster and covers evening peaks with more power. When the grid fails the EPS output supplies 60 kVA, 72 kVA for 1 minute and 90 kVA for 10 s; switchover – under 10 ms, power to the phases may be unbalanced. Generator control, peak shaving, demand management and 24/7 scheduling – as across the whole series.

Battery compatibility

The manufacturer's list contains only SolaX high-voltage batteries: TSYS-HS51 (5–13 modules of 5.1 kWh per port, 25.6–133 kWh), T-HR140 (7–14 modules per port, 100.1–400.4 kWh) and HS160-PA (16 kWh modules; with the 60K the manufacturer recommends at least 8 modules – 128 kWh, one more than for the 50K). We match the configuration before ordering.

Mounting and communication

Dimensions 670 × 257 × 820 mm, weight under 105 kg – the box includes a wall bracket, lifting rings, 12 pairs of PV connectors, battery and AC connectors and a CT; the meter and communication module are ordered separately. Mounted on a wall or on the battery cabinet; the wall must bear four times the inverter's weight. Operation from −35 °C to +60 °C (derating above +45 °C), noise up to 65 dB. Communication: RS485, CAN (BMS), parallel bus, DI/DO, DRM; monitoring and remote updates through SolaXCloud.

Safety and warranty

Type II surge arresters on the PV and AC side, insulation, residual current and anti-islanding monitoring, battery reverse-polarity protection; AFCI is optional. We confirm the warranty period for this model under the manufacturer's EU warranty terms before ordering; the inverter is registered in a SolaXCloud account.
