Description

The SolaX X3-AELIO-50K is a three-phase 50 kW hybrid inverter with five MPP trackers and two high-voltage battery ports. It is the variant for a company, farm or production workshop where the solar array reaches 60–100 kWp and the service connection and permitted power fit within 72.5 A per phase. One unit generates, stores and, when the grid fails, powers the essential loads; the IP66 enclosure is wall-mounted outdoors or indoors.

Power and array size

Rated power is 50 kW, and at ambient temperatures up to +45 °C the inverter delivers up to 55 kVA (79.8 A per phase) – a 110 % long-term overload on-grid. Five MPP trackers take two strings each – 10 strings, 40 A per tracker, input up to 1 000 V, operating range 160–950 V; 200 % oversizing is allowed – up to 100 kWp. If the array is larger or the continuous load approaches 50 kW, choose the X3-AELIO-60K; for larger sites up to 10 inverters run in parallel.

Battery and backup power

The inverter charges and discharges the battery at 50 kW – up to 80 A on each of the two ports, voltage window 180–820 V, 650 V recommended. Two ports allow two independent battery groups and staged capacity expansion. When the grid fails the EPS output supplies 50 kVA, 60 kVA for 1 minute and 75 kVA peaks for 10 s when motors or compressors start; switchover – under 10 ms, power to the phases may be unbalanced. The peak shaving and demand management modes limit the power drawn from the grid, and the inverter controls a backup generator itself.

Battery compatibility

The inverter works only with SolaX high-voltage batteries from the manufacturer's list: TSYS-HS51 (5–13 modules of 5.1 kWh per port, 25.6–133 kWh), T-HR140 (7–14 modules per port, 100.1–400.4 kWh) and HS160-PA (16 kWh modules; with the 50K the manufacturer recommends at least 7 modules – 112 kWh). Mounting and communication

Dimensions 670 × 257 × 820 mm, weight under 100 kg – the box includes a wall bracket, lifting rings, 10 pairs of PV connectors, battery and AC connectors and a CT; the meter and communication module are ordered separately. Operation from −35 °C to +60 °C (derating above +45 °C), noise up to 65 dB. Communication: RS485 for the meter and monitoring, CAN for the battery BMS, a parallel bus, DI/DO and DRM; monitoring and remote updates through SolaXCloud.

Safety and warranty

Type II surge arresters on the PV and AC side, insulation, residual current and anti-islanding monitoring, battery reverse-polarity protection; AFCI arc-fault detection is optional.
