Description

The Deye SUN-10K-SG05LP3-EU-SM2 is a three-phase 10 kW hybrid inverter for a low-voltage (40–60 V) battery. It is the variant for a typical home with a 10 kW permitted generation capacity and a solar array of 10–16 kW; one 48 V class storage system, such as the Dyness PowerBrick Plus, is connected to it. IP65 enclosure, 35.2 kg, wall-mounted in a garage, boiler room or outdoors.

Power and array size

Rated power 10 kW (11 kVA), output current 14.5 A per phase, 16 A maximum. Two MPP trackers with two strings each accept 26 A apiece, operating window 200–650 V, input up to 800 V; up to 16 kW is used from the array, and up to 20 kWp of modules can be connected. If the array is larger, or the evening loads – heat pump, cooker, water heater – together exceed 10 kW, choose the 15 kW variant.

Battery and backup power

One battery input, charge and discharge current up to 210 A – with a 48 V class battery that is roughly 10 kW, i.e. the full inverter power; several batteries are connected in parallel. When the grid fails the loads are fed from the battery and the sun, a 20 kW peak is withstood for 10 s, and up to 5 kW is delivered to a single phase. With the grid present, up to 45 A per phase is passed through the inverter to the loads. Six time windows allow charging the battery at night on a cheaper tariff, and zero export is controlled via the current clamps in the box or a three-phase meter.

Battery compatibility

In Deye's list DY-LV48-0128 the SUN-10K-SG05LP3-EU-SM2 is named with batteries from Deye, BYD Battery-Box LV, LG RESU, Pylontech, Dyness B4850 and A48100, Pytes, FoxESS and others; communication is CAN or RS485, with lithium mode 00 selected in the inverter. In Dyness's list (2026-07-15) the SUN-3…12K-SG05LP3-EU-SM2 group is confirmed with the PowerBrick Plus. We match the battery model before the order.

Installation, safety and warranty

Dimensions 386 × 250 × 660 mm (width × depth × height), fan cooling, noise up to 55 dB – indoors, choose a technical area. Clearance: 50 cm at the sides, above and below, 100 cm in front. The box contains the bracket, 4 M8×80 bolts, three current clamps (4 m), a battery temperature sensor and a parallel communication cable; the Wi-Fi datalogger is an optional accessory. Integrated DC switch, Type II arresters on the DC and AC side. Warranty under the international Deye terms – 5 years from the installation date.
