The Solis S6-EH3P15K02-NV-YD-L is a three-phase 15 kW hybrid inverter for a low-voltage (40–60 V) battery, the most powerful model of the family we offer – for a large house with a heat pump, a farm or a small business with a 15–24 kW array and two or more 48 V-class batteries, e.g. the Dyness PowerBrick Plus 16.08 kWh. IP66 enclosure, 42 kg, wall-mounted indoors or outdoors.

Power and array size

Rated power 15 kW (15 kVA), output current 21.7 A per phase. Two MPPT trackers of 40 A each take two strings apiece: four strings suit two roof planes (one MPPT per plane) or a large single-orientation roof. Up to 24 kW is used from the array, and up to 30 kW of modules can be connected. It differs from the 12 kW variant by 3 kW and one string; only identical models can be paralleled – up to 6 on a shared battery, which also suits a commercial site.

Battery and backup power

Two battery ports of 150 A each, total current 290 A – on a 48 V-class battery that is almost the full 15 kW, so the storage is built from several batteries so that the combined BMS current limit matches the inverter. Off-grid, a 30 kW peak is held for 10 s and up to 7.5 kW per phase, so the heat pump and the oven run together in the evening. Up to 22.5 kW is drawn from the grid to charge the battery. The GEN port accepts a three-phase generator of up to 15 kW and starts it according to the battery charge – important for a farm where the grid goes down for long periods.

Battery group and BMS link

There is one BMS port (CAN or RS485), so several batteries are joined into one group that presents itself to the inverter as a single storage unit – this is how two or more Dyness PowerBrick Plus 16.08 kWh are connected to the 15 kW model. The combination is in the Dyness list (2026-07-15), and in the Solis list the S6-EH3P(5-18)K02-NV-YD-L family uses the "Dyness LV" option. An incompatible battery voids the warranty, so we check the model and the number of batteries before ordering.

Location, clearances and warranty

Dimensions 430 × 305 × 660 mm (W × D × H); clearance of 30 cm at the sides and above, 50 cm below and in front, 70 cm between two inverters mounted side by side; the location out of direct sun, fan up to 65 dB. The unit has a DC switch and Type II surge protection on the DC side (AC optional). Warranty under Solis European terms – 5 years, extension within 12 months of its start.
