Description

The Solis S6-EH3P12K02-NV-YD-L is a three-phase 12 kW hybrid inverter for a low-voltage (40–60 V) battery. It is the variant for a home with a 12–19 kW array and one or two 48 V-class batteries, e.g. the Dyness PowerBrick Plus 16.08 kWh. IP66 enclosure, 42 kg, wall-mounted in a garage, boiler room or outdoors.

Power and array size

Rated power 12 kW (12 kVA), output current 17.3 A per phase. Two MPPT trackers (20 A and 40 A) take three strings of 20 A each – convenient when the modules are on two roof planes. Up to 19.2 kW is used from the array, and up to 24 kW of modules can be connected. If the array is larger, four strings are needed or the evening loads exceed 12 kW, choose the 15 kW variant – different models cannot be paralleled, up to 6 identical ones can.

Battery and backup power

Two battery ports of 150 A each, total current 250 A – on a 48 V-class battery that is the full 12 kW; the real power is also limited by the battery's BMS. There is one BMS port (CAN or RS485) – several batteries are joined into one group. When the grid fails, switchover takes under 10 ms, a 24 kW peak is held for 10 s, up to 6 kW per phase. The inverter charges the battery from the grid drawing up to 18 kW (26 A per phase). A three-phase generator of up to 12 kW connects to the GEN port and is started according to the battery charge; the same port can feed non-critical loads.

Battery compatibility

The Solis list (group S6-EH3P(5-18)K02-NV-YD-L) names the Dyness PowerBrick Plus and other Dyness LV series (option "Dyness LV"), Pylontech, BYD Battery-Box LV, LG RESU, WECO, FOX and others; the Dyness list (2026-07-15) confirms the model with the PowerBrick Plus. An incompatible battery voids the warranty – we check the battery model before ordering.

Installation, safety and warranty

Dimensions 430 × 305 × 660 mm (W × D × H), fan, noise up to 65 dB. In a low-voltage system the current is high, so the storage is placed next to the inverter, with 42 mm² cables. The box contains the wall plate, three MC4 pairs, three current transformers (alternative – the Eastron SDM630MCT meter), a temperature sensor, a parallel cable and a Wi-Fi/LAN logger. DC switch, Type II surge protection on the DC side (AC optional). Warranty under Solis European terms – 5 years, extension within 12 months of its start.
